Summary of issues discussed:

The main business of the meeting was a Q&A session with Ken Skates MS, Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales.  The meeting also saw the launch of the Group’s report ‘Bikes and Buses – a perfect partnership’ authored by Dr Richard Weston and produced in association with the THINK project of Aberystwyth University.

Summary of issues discussed:

Annual Meeting: the meeting elected John Griffiths MS as Chair and re-elected Chris Roberts as Secretary. The main business of the ordinary meeting was a panel discussion on the devolution of active travel funding to the Corporate Joint Committees.

                  

 

3. Professional lobbyists, voluntary organisations and charities with whom the Group has met during the preceding year.

 

The Group has not met with any professional lobbyists during the year.

 

The Group meetings are attended by representatives of several organisations and charities.  The details of attendees for each meeting are listed above. The Chair and Secretary of the Group met with an officer and clients of Innovate Trust (433 Cowbridge Road East, Cardiff, CF5 1JH) to discuss their project to improve access to transport for people with learning difficulties.  The meeting took place in Ty Hywel on April 29th. The following organisations were invited to speak to the Group:
